A few months ago at the urging of the Fine Line Homes Marketing Director, a professional “Branding Company” was hired to formulate a one sentence branding statement, that would perfectly describe the Fine Line Homes experience.  The end result, “It’s time for the home you want “.    The time, being right now, the home, being Fine Line Homes, and want, creating a need for action.  Perfect.

Blueprint of house plansBut if I were to take that statement one step further, it would be the emphasis on “it’s time for the home YOU want.

With my background in Interior Design, and being a new Building Consultant with Fine Line Homes, I was particularly interested in just how flexible I could be with the offered floor plans from the Plan Book.

It is rare to encounter a potential home buyer that will take an existing plan, as is, with no modifications.  And, what is even rarer to find, a home builder that WILL make (and actually encourage) modifications!

In my short 9 months with Fine Line Homes I have:

Totally rearranged the kitchen on the Oakridge House Plan, twice!  At the client’s request, added a 10 foot peninsula with an eat-at bar, added a foot in length to the house, increased the size of doorways to accommodate a wheelchair, and once, added a complete, 14’x14’ Dining Room where originally there was none.  And also, doubled the size of the two car garage for a “sports car enthusiast”.

On the Manhattan House Plan, enclosed the Open Entry and Open Family Room to create additional Bedrooms and Bath on the 2nd floor, for a growing family.

On the Brookville House Plan, the entire Primary Bath was re-arranged to include a walk-in shower, beautifully accented with glass tile and a soaking tub.

On the Fenwick House Plan, the homeowner wanted additional kitchen cabinets and room enough for an extra wide, double door refrigerator, which meant moving the pantry wall.

These are but a few of the many, (actually endless) interior and exterior modifications, both small and large, Fine Line Homes is willing to make to existing floor plans, to make the home unique to the needs and desires of the home buyer.

That is what sets Fine Line Homes apart, and that is what creates, the emphasis on YOU.
