The simple answer is everything from the basement up (including the basement).

To expand on this the basement whether it be a 10” concrete block wall, 10” poured concrete wall or a Superior XI Wall includes a vapor barrier between the stone and the concrete floor, a footer drain around the perimeter, Boman Kemp Window System (emergency exit) and a passive radon system.

The exterior construction consist of 2” X 6” walls with sheathing, engineered roof trusses with sheathing and dimensional shingles with a limited lifetime warranty. Low maintenance is afforded with vinyl siding, vinyl soffit, aluminum fascia and seamless gutters and downspouts in an array of colors.

Vinyl porch posts with railing, brick and stone accents are included on some plans. A garage door opener(s) provides security, convenience and shelter from the weather while opening the steel insulated garage door(s). Light fixtures are provided at every door in a white, black or antique bronze finish.

The heating and air conditioning is taken care of by an energy efficient heat pump. The frame of the home is caulked and sealed Tyvek house wrap used to increase the thermal integrity. Blown fiberglass insulation achieves an R-49 Value in the ceiling and an R-23 Value in the walls. R-30 fiberglass batt insulation is used to insulate the unconditioned basement space from the conditioned space on the first floor.

The hot water lines are insulated in the basement. Nationally known Simonton windows and patio doors feature energy saving Low E glass with argon gas between the panes.

The interior walls and ceilings are painted with two coats of flat paint which is easy to touch-up and available in two colors. The interior doors & trim are painted (also after the trim is installed the nail holes are filled and touch-up paint applied) and the stair railings are stained.

Kitchens feature Yorktowne Cabinetry in staggered heights and depths to create a custom look. You get to choose from a wide selection of door designs, stains and wood species including oak, maple, cherry, hickory and knotty alder. Appliances include the range, dishwasher and microwave.

The standard flooring package includes engineered hardwood flooring in the entry, powder room, kitchen/dinette and ceramic tile flooring in bathrooms, vinyl in the laundry room and carpet throughout the remainder of the home.
