It’s Spring…early flowers like daffodils, hyacinth and crocus are peeking thru the sleepy soil! Home & Garden shows are in full display as eager audiences walk the aisles and make their dreams and plans for the new growing season.
Maybe this is the year that you are taking the plunge and have made the decision to build your new Fine Line Home! As you study and dissect the floor plans and settle on those enjoyable decisions on room sizes, entertaining needs, play rooms or craft rooms, don’t forget your yard and especially your gardens!
Sit down with your Housing Consultant from Fine Line Homes and share your future garden and yard needs. As the “old timers” will know, the placement of garden space and flower beds is critical for success. I spend a lot of time with the Buyer asking about past gardens, types of produce, whether flowers beds need full sun or partial sun or even shade.
Look at the placement of your home on your building Lot, or if going into a community be sure and select the Lot which meets both your current and future needs. If your plan is to add a ‘sun room’ in the years ahead be sure it doesn’t sit on the North side of the home. Is a pool in your future yard plans? Are you looking for more of a ‘low maintenance’ garden and flower bed lifestyle? Maybe a 3-season room?
You will be so much happier in your new Fine Line Home when you take that little bit of extra time with your helpful Housing Consultant and talk about your Green Thumb!
