Years ago I heard someone say you can tell a lot about a person by their foot wear. A dress or shirt and slacks receives the most notice but the shoes finishes off an outfit. Shoes in good condition and polished that match an outfit make a statement about the person.
The same can maybe be said for flooring. While cabinets, appliances and plumbing products are the home features that receive more notice, quality flooring that serves the needs of each room is important as well. Hardwood floors in an entry and kitchen are impressive and inviting. Durable ceramic tile in bathrooms is an excellent choice. Quality carpet in the family room and bedrooms is warm and cozy.
