Meet Melissa Cavell!
Melissa is our New Home Expert in our State College office. To get to know her a little better, we asked a few questions about her work with Fine Line & her personal life.
Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING FOR FINE LINE?
A: I will be with Fine Line Homes for one year in November 2022.
Q: WHAT EXPERIENCE DID YOU HAVE BEFORE COMING TO FINE LINE?
A: I was a realtor prior to joining FLH.
Q: WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO BUILD A NEW HOME?
A: Get a pre-approval if you’re getting a Construction Loan or talk to your financial advisor if you’re planning a cash sale and get it early in the process. It saves a lot of time and frustration if we have a clear vision of your budget. Then we can work with that budget to get you what you want!
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING FOR FINE LINE?
A: Helping people design their dream homes!
Q: IF YOU WERE TO BUILD A HOUSE WITH FINE LINE, WHICH PLAN WOULD YOU CHOOSE & WHY?
A: The Abilene. I love the two-story wall of windows in the family room and the open stairs. There are so many ways to re-design the entry area to really personalize it.
Q: WHY SHOULD SOMEONE CHOOSE FINE LINE TO BUILD THEIR HOME?

Q: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE?
A: Travel! Take the back roads in my Jeep, walks in the woods, and look into genealogy. Right now, I’ve got two rescue kittens that keep me pretty amused, too.
Q: WHAT IS ONE FUN FACT ABOUT YOU?
A: I was in the Penn State Blue Band.
