One of the things I most value about working for Fine Line Homes is the standard of integrity maintained for the 32 years I have been privileged to be employed with the company. It starts with the owner, George Parmer, and is practiced by the management team and throughout the entire company.

The Marriott Hotel in downtown Chicago recently displayed a fine example of doing business with integrity. I had stayed there while taking a real estate course and upon check out explained to the manager some issues experienced when checking in. The general manager wrote me a letter stating on my next visit they would provide a complimentary night’s stay.

The Bean

My two daughters planned a visit to Chicago and needed to arrange lodging. I produced the letter from the general manager and offered the free room to them. They were ecstatic but skeptical. You see the letter was issued 30 years ago from back in 1985. We Googled the address and the Hotel was still located there. Next I called the Hotel and after speaking to Customer Care was referred to the Senior Executive Assistant. They agreed to honor something represented 30 years ago from obviously a manager who most likely had not worked there for many years.

Brenda and Breana had the pleasure of staying there on October 16 and really enjoyed their time in the Windy City. They are pictured in front of Cloud Gate fondly called “The Bean”.
