When thinking of retirement I think of relaxation. Although I have a few more years before retirement I think of a lifestyle that I would want in the future. I know now I spend much of my time after work maintaining my home including yard and landscaping. When I retire, I for one would rather not have this maintenance.
If you feel the same way, you may want to consider townhome or duplex style living. There is an association that will take care of all landscaping, grass cutting, and snow removal. This will free up a lot of time and make retirement easy living.
Now that I think about it, do I need to wait until retirement? Why not have easy living now?
